Top Tips for Reducing Yarn Faults and Improving Textile Quality

Image
Yarn Fault Classification and Remedies for Quality Improvement Introduction:-      In the textile industry , maintaining high yarn quality is essential for producing superior fabrics. Faults in yarn can compromise the strength, appearance, and overall quality of the final product. Automatic Yarn Clearers, such as those on autoconer machines , play a vital role in classifying and detecting these faults electronically, enabling efficient quality control. This blog discusses the classification of yarn faults , their causes, and effective remedies to minimize defects. Yarn Fault Classification USTER Classimat Defects Classification Types of Yarn Faults      Yarn faults are categorized based on their size, length, and severity. The primary classifications include: Neps (N): Small, thick, entangled fiber balls within the yarn. Short Thick Places (A, B, C, D classes): Faults less than 8 cm long with increased cross-secti...

HOW TO CALCULATE YARN DIAMETER

Image
HOW TO CALCULATE YARN DIAMETER     The diameter of  yarn can be calculated by 1divded 28 Square root of Count is called as Diameter of yarn in Per inch. Example :-      Count - 20s & 40s Formula:- 1/28 Square root of  Count = Diameter of inch 28Square root of  20 = 125.22 1/125.22 = 0.007986 Per inch 0.007986 x 25.4 = 0.203 So the diameter of yarn is 0.203 Formula:- 1/28 Square root of  Count = Diameter of inch 28Square root of  40 = 177.088 1/177.088 = 0.005647 Per inch 0.005647  x  25.4 = 0.203 So the diameter of yarn is 0.143 Then 1Divded 28 Square root of count why we apply Here?

SPINNING MILL TEXTILE CONSTANT

Textile Constant :-      Generally we use some constant value in spinning mill. Like yard to hank converted constant 0.54 and Meter to hank converted constant 0.59 Example:- 0.54/ Yard weight in gms = Hank 0.54/4.9 = 0.1102 Hank 0.59/Meter weight in gms = Hank 0.59/5.36 = 0.1100 Hank Where it is comes from ? First we want to know what is count. No. of 840yards in pound = Count      We apply the above concept in formula. Note second formula Meter to hank converted constant also same as yard to hank converted constant but here we converted first meter to yard so we add 1.094 Formula :- 1/840/2.20456*1000 = 0.54 1*1.094/840/2.202456*1000 = 0.59

AUTOCONER CUTS DETAILS

Image
In this blog we discuss about the autoconer cuts for LOEPFE EYC. What is Eyc ? Electronic yarn clearer. Loepfe Clearer working in Optical principle (YARN DIA). What is cuts ?      The fault after clearing the yarn body with the help of EYC is called as cuts.     We produce the yarn in spinning plant. In the yarn body  o bjectional and non objectional faults  is there. But remove the objectional faults only.     The above picture cuts show as 100Km. For example :- Total cuts is 61  Actual cuts is 4349.239 61*71.299 = 4349.239 cuts  7129.9Km is total Km yarn winding. (Right side coner in that pic) The first box column is Total cuts Total cuts = D cuts + F cuts + P cuts + Other cuts D cuts = NSLT F cuts = Foreign cuts P cuts = POLY cuts. The second box column is D cuts derivation NSLT = NEP cuts, SHORT cuts, LONG cuts, THIN cuts. Nep Fault:- Short fault:- Long fault:- Thin Fault:- Actual yarn dia is less is call as thin fault...

HOW TO FIND STANDARD HANK IN MPM DELIVERLY

SPINNING MILL STANDARD HANK IN MPM DELIVERY FORMULA :-     In spinning mill we use production  formula in short  method. I recommend to use  formula in elaborate. First we need some basic details is given below GENERAL:- 1  METER = 1.094 YARD 1 LEA = 120 YARD 7 LEA = 840 YARD 1 KG = 2.20456 POUNDS 1 CM = 10 MM 1 INCH = 2.54 CM 1 INCH = 25.4 MM Lets take Breaker drawing  for find standard Hank Delivery speed = 500 Hank = 0.115 No. of delivery = 2 Formula:- 8 HRS STD HANK = MPM × 1.094 × 8 × 60 ÷ 840 × No. of delivery 500 ×1.094 ×8 ×60 ÷ 840 ×2 = 625.14 CONSTANT FOR HANK TO CONVERT KG:- Formula:- 1 ÷2.20456 ÷Hank × No. of delivery 1 ÷2.20456 ÷0.115 ×2 = 7.89 HANK TO KGS:- Hank  ×  Constant 625.14  × 7.89 = 4932.35 kg MPM TO KG FORMULA FOR 8HRS:- PRODUCTION FORMULA 8HRS = MPM × 1.094 × 8 × 60 ÷ 840 ÷ 2.20456 ÷ HANK*EFF ÷ 100 × No. of delivery

SPINNING MILL SHORT FORMULA EXPLANATION

SPINNING MILL SHORT FORMULAS :-     In spinning mill we use production  formula in short  method. I recommend to use  formula in elaborate. First we need some basic details is given below GENERAL:- 1  METER = 1.094 YARD 1 LEA = 120 YARD 7 LEA = 840 YARD 1 KG = 2.20456 POUNDS 1 CM = 10 MM 1 INCH = 2.54 CM 1 INCH = 25.4 MM Mostly Spinning people use short formula like 0.2835 ×Delivery speed in mpm ÷  Hank for MPM to Kgs And 1693×1.890(weight in kg) ×count for Find autoconer cone length. Where its comes? First we take short formula 0.2835 Here we use 0.2835 and MPM and Hank. What was the actual formula MPM*1.094*8*60/840/2.20456/HANK*EFF/100* No. of delivery so we omit the MPM And hank in this formula 1.094*8*60/840/2.20456 = 0.2835. Second we take short formula 1693 We use formula the above same Length*1.094*8*60/840/2.20456/count = Weight But here we need the Length. So reverse the formula 840*2.20456*1.094 =1692.71 = 1693. ELABORAT...
