RKM

RKM INFORMATION This can be expressed by the “Length of yarn in km” at which yarn will break of its own weight”. This is equivalent to breaking load in g/tex. RKM is the short expression for “Reisskilometer” – “Breaking-kilometre”, which is an unit out of date. E.g.: a Cotton-yarn with 15 RKM means, it would break of its own weight, if you wind off 15 km of the yarn and hang it up in 15 km. Nowadays it is common practice, to use the unit Centi-Newton per Tex (cN/Tex) or gram-force per Tex (gf/Tex). RKM and cN/Tex or gf/Tex are practically the same (a slight difference would be there)   SINGLE YARN STRENGTH (Breaking force) :  This is the force required to break a strand of single yarn. It is expressing Centi-Newton (cN).     STRENGTH (Tenacity) : The Tensile Strength expressed as force per unit linear density is called Tenacity. This is normally expressed as gram force per tex (gf/tex).   CSP (Count Strength Product) : CSP, the bundle strength...

Effective Training SOPs for Spinning Mills

Comprehensive SOP for Training Departments in Spinning Mills: Ensuring Skill, Safety, and Quality      In the competitive world of textile manufacturing, particularly in spinning mills, having a well-defined Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for training is essential. It ensures that every operator is proficient, safety is prioritized, and yarn quality remains consistent. A robust Training SOP covers everything from onboarding to hands-on skill development, creating a culture of continuous improvement and safety. Why is a Training SOP Important in a Spinning Mill? Consistency & Quality:  Well-trained operators produce uniform yarns, reducing defects. Efficiency:  Proper training minimizes machine downtime and waste. Safety:  Emphasizes safe practices, preventing accidents. Compliance:  Ensures adherence to industry standards and regulations. Employee Development:  Supports skill enhancement and career ...

SPINNING MILL PRODUCTION FROMULA

PRODUCTION FORMULAS :-     In spinning mill we use production formula in short method. I recommend to use  formula in elaborate. First we need some basic details is given below GENERAL:- 1   METER = 1.094 YARD 1 LEA = 120 YARD 7 LEA = 840 YARD 1 KG = 2.20456 POUNDS 1 CM = 10 MM 1 INCH = 2.54 CM 1 INCH = 25.4 MM     In basically we use two formula mostly. one is where we have METER PER MIN and another one is where we have REVOLUTION PER MIN MPM FORMULA:- PRODUCTION FORMULA 8HRS = MPM *1.094*8*60/840/2.20456/ HANK * EFF /100*NO. OF DELIVERY EXAMPLE:- Delivery speed in MPM = 150 Hank = 0.120 Eff = 96%     In the above formula 8 means 8Hrs(Per shift), 60 means 60 Minutes = 150×1.09×8Hrs×60Min÷840÷2.20456÷0.120×96÷100*1 =339 Kgs/Pershift RPM FORMULA:- PRODUCTION FORMULA 8HRS =  RPM *8*60/36/840/2.20456/ COUNT / TPI *EFF/100*No. of delivery EXAMPLE:- Spindle speed in RPM = 1350 Hank = 1.14 Tpi = 1.59 Eff = 80%    ...
