WHAT IS TWIST CONTRACTION PERCENTAGE

 TWIST CONTRACTION % :-

    Where ever we give twist the length is affected as original length. The affected length percentage is called as twist contraction percentage. Like if you have 1 meter yarn. Apply twist on that the length is changed as 0.90 or less meter the affected length percentage is called as twist contraction percentage.

Formula :-

TWIST CONTRACTION % = TC%

LENGTH BEFORE TWIST = LB TWIST

LENGTH AFTER TWIST = LA TWIST

TC% = LB TWIST - LA TWIST ÷ LB TWIST × 100
