SHORT THICK FAULTS IN CLASSIMAT

• Insufficient opening and cleaning will lead to more sliver trash and will create short thick faults.
• Excessive fibre entanglements while opening and cleaning in blowroom. Hence proper selection of beater is necessary.
• Improper settings between cylinder and flats
• Higher cylinder speed and flatspeed may be employed.
• Damaged wire points in cylinder, doffer & flats. Hence systematic maintenance schedules could be followed.

LONG THICK FAULTS IN CLASSIMAT

• Presence of unopened rovings in the blow room lap or card slivers
• Folding or overlapping of the blowroom layers while feeding to the Lickerin of the cards
